VIKKI CALVERT

Brit born photographer Vikki Calvert, chose the beautiful hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast to call home. She draws her inspiration from the dramatic Australian landscape, her fascination with the ocean and our surf culture.

Her images capture the serenity and beauty of the Aussie wilderness, and her ability to capture texture and movement using only natural light is simply masterful. Using soft neutral tones, she is able to create dreamlike artworks and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in her whimsical landscapes and emotive portraiture.

Vikki’s portraiture work is dramatic and powerful. Documenting everyday people, and spending time to understand their story, means she is able to recognise raw emotion and connection.
